Left From Hollywood specializes in, but is not limited to, movie reviews of Independent or 'Indie Films' for most Independent and Texas Filmmakers. Independent or Indie film production should not be confused with home or amateur movies; Independent movies are feature films that are produced mostly outside of major film studios.
Independent films are sometimes distinguishable by their content and style and the way in which the filmmakers' personal artistic vision is realized. Generally, the marketing of independent films is characterized by limited release designed to build word-of-mouth or to reach small specialty audiences.
